Wolfe Island

A small amount of uncatalogued historical material is available at the Wolfe Island Branch of the Kingston Frontenac Public Library. The material includes newspaper clippings, articles and ephemera. The Old House Museum in Marysville preserves Wolfe Island history.

Background

  • From 1849-1998, Frontenac County was comprised of eighteen townships, of which Wolfe Island was one.
  • In 1998, Wolfe Island was amalgamated into the Township of Frontenac Islands in Frontenac County.
